1. What is Roxbourg?

The Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) offers venture development programs in 100+ countries worldwide. It is designed for Architects, Artists, Athletes, Healthcare Professionals, Engineers, Farmers, Founders, Humanitarians, Legal Professionals, Scientists, Teachers, Writers, and all practitioners who have completed their foundational academic studies and now seek to earn a Roxbourg Professional Qualification.

Roxbourg empowers you to earn the Roxbourg Professional MSE, Professional MBA, Professional DBA, or Professional Post-Doc Fellowship by scaling non-profit projects or for-profit ventures that address the fundamental needs of humanity - including clean water, balanced nutrition, breathable air, renewable energy, quality education, reliable healthcare, secure habitat, and self-expression.

What’s New?
Roxbourg is the world’s first venture-acceleration framework where you earn a Professional Qualification by scaling sustainable projects. All high-level research activities are now centralized under the
Roxbourg Advanced Research Institute (RARI), focusing on applied innovation and social impact.

Name of the institution
Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), powered by the Roxbourg Venture Accelerator, Switzerland.

Registration
Roxbourg is a sustainable innovation from Majamba Sàrl, Switzerland, established in 2010. The registration number of Majamba Sàrl is CH-550-1072663-4.

Type of institution
The Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) is a private provider of professional development and does not hold status as a "University" under Swiss Federal Law.

  • The Credential: The Roxbourg Professional MBA and Professional DBA are Private Professional Qualifications and industry credentials issued in Switzerland.

  • The Distinction: These qualifications certify professional competency in social entrepreneurship and are not academic degrees recognized by state education authorities for academic credit transfer (e.g., ECTS credits).

  • The Learning Model: Roxbourg offers hybrid (in-person/online) programs focused on venture development, where you learn directly from professionals and practitioners rather than traditional academic faculty.

  • Validation vs. Accreditation: Roxbourg is a provider of professional validation qualifications, not a receiver of state accreditation. Roxbourg validates the professional competency of individuals and, by extension, their Innovation Academies.

Professional Qualifications
The Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) offers specialized tracks leading to:

  • Roxbourg Professional Master of Social Entrepreneurship (MSE)

  • Roxbourg Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Roxbourg Professional Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)

  • Roxbourg Professional Post-Doc Fellowship

Executive Research & Academy Leadership Track
The Roxbourg Professional Post-Doc Fellowship is hosted by The Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), Switzerland, and jointly delivered with the Roxbourg Venture Accelerator. This elite track is designed for those launching their own Innovation Academies. Candidates can complete this in parallel with the Roxbourg Humanitarian Professional DBA, with one primary requirement: your Academy must develop the operational capability to coach and graduate at least 100 Roxbourg candidates annually.

Time Commitment
Professional growth requires consistency. Roxbourg Jam Sessions (Seminars) are held every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, depending on the specific program track selected.

Global Compliance Note: All Roxbourg credentials are Private Professional Qualifications issued in Switzerland. They are intended for professional advancement and venture building. They are not intended for use in government employment or for seeking entry into state-regulated academic programs requiring government-recognized degrees.

2. Program Structure and Admissions Process

The Roxbourg professional journey is designed for high-impact results. Unlike traditional academic calendars, our structure follows the pace of venture acceleration.

Duration of the Professional Track

Each year is divided into three semesters, each approximately 100 days long.

  • Roxbourg Professional MSE & Professional MBA: Minimum duration is One Year.

  • Roxbourg Professional DBA: Minimum duration is Two Years.

  • Flexibility: There is no fixed graduation date; certification is granted only upon the successful completion of all professional venture deliverables.

Rolling Admissions

To support global innovation, admissions remain open throughout the year, allowing founders to begin their acceleration journey when their venture requires it most.

Location and Format

Hybrid Model: Collaborative Online Sessions | Professional Showcases in Switzerland.

Service & Professional Fees

  1. One-Time Activation Fees: Includes administrative processing fees.

  2. Monthly Program Fees: Payable in a maximum of 6 installments.

  • Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, as Roxbourg provides the administrative framework and platform access immediately upon processing.

Professional Standards & Engagement Rules

  • Professional Presence: Participate with cameras on to foster high-trust collaboration.

  • Environment: Join sessions from a stationary, professional environment (no moving vehicles or public transport).

  • Accountability: Missing more than 6 Jam Sessions in a single cycle requires the candidate to restart the cycle to ensure mastery of the material.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Roxbourg Professional Qualifications

Roxbourg is an inclusive global ecosystem. We welcome all practitioners, innovators, and leaders committed to building a sustainable future. To maintain the rigor of the Roxbourg Professional Validation process, applicants must meet the following three criteria:

I. Demonstrated Social Impact Project

Applicants must prove they are currently developing or operating a venture that addresses fundamental humanitarian needs, including:

  • Essential Resources: Clean water, balanced nutrition, breathable air, and renewable energy.

  • Social Infrastructure: Quality education, reliable healthcare, secure habitat, and self-expression. You must demonstrate a clear intent to scale this venture using the Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System during your enrollment.

II. Foundational Professional Literacy

Candidates must demonstrate a functional understanding of business and organizational fundamentals. This includes:

  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to define a long-term vision.

  • Operational Awareness: Understanding how to manage resources and delivery.

  • Market & Growth Engagement: Basic literacy in marketing, storytelling, and fundraising/resource mobilization.Note: Roxbourg prioritizes professional experience and "learned-by-doing" over traditional academic transcripts.

III. Entrepreneurial Mindset & Adaptability

Building a venture in a complex world requires a specific psychological profile. Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Tolerance for Ambiguity: The ability to make decisions and progress even when the path is not fully defined.

  • Commitment to Experimentation: A willingness to test, fail, learn, and iterate rapidly (The "Roxbourg Method").

  • Collaborative Spirit: A commitment to the "Golden Rules" of mutual respect and collective growth within the Roxbourg community.

Candidate Disclosure: Eligibility for the Roxbourg Professional MBA or Professional DBA is determined by the Roxbourg Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA). Meeting the eligibility criteria grants admission into the professional track but does not guarantee the final issuance of the Professional Qualification, which is strictly based on the successful validation of your venture by the Board.

4. Merit-Based Scholarship Framework

Roxbourg is committed to ensuring that the world’s most impactful social entrepreneurs can access professionally validated qualifications regardless of their initial financial standing. We use a Merit-Based Scholarship model to offset the service fees for our Professional Qualifications. Our fees include a mandatory 400 Swiss Francs activation fee plus a merit-based service fee. Candidates indicate the amount of service fees (in Swiss Francs) they can sustainably contribute to the selected program based on their professional achievements, and Roxbourg seeks to top up the remaining fees with sponsors.

Scholarship Evaluation Criteria

Your scholarship level is determined by a holistic assessment of your venture's impact and your professional capacity. The Roxbourg Scholarship Committee utilizes the following checklist:

  • Venture Maturity & Impact: To what degree is your venture actively addressing critical community needs (e.g., clean water, healthcare, education)?

  • Strategic Need: What specific professional acceleration support do you require to reach the next stage of scalability?

  • Economic Context: We consider your current financial environment and income stability to ensure the scholarship reaches those who need it most.

  • Skin in the Game: What level of personal or professional investment (time, capital, or resources) have you already committed to your social mission?

The Scholarship Award Process

The path to a Roxbourg scholarship is a transparent, multi-step journey:

  1. Impact Questionnaire: Upon application, you will receive a detailed set of questions regarding your venture’s milestones.

  2. Professional Interview: Qualified candidates are invited to an interview to discuss their vision and alignment with the Roxbourg Method.

  3. Validation of Evidence: Following the interview, we may request supporting documentation, including:

    • Proof of legal entity registration for your venture.

    • Prior educational or professional certificates.

    • Evidence of project feasibility.

  4. Scholarship Offer: Successful candidates receive an official Scholarship Offer valid for 14 days.

  5. Pre-Onboarding & Induction: After fulfilling the Admission Requirements, you will be invited to a Pre-Onboarding Session followed by a formal Onboarding Session to meet your global cohort.

Exclusions

To maintain the integrity of our mission, please note the following are not covered by the Roxbourg Scholarship or Service Fees:

  • Personal Infrastructure: Candidates are responsible for their own computer hardware and high-speed internet access.

  • Venture Capital: Roxbourg provides the acceleration framework and professional validation; we do not provide direct equity or debt investment in your social venture.

Policy Note: Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the Roxbourg Institute and are tied to continued adherence to the 80% Attendance Rule and the Roxbourg Code of Conduct. Failure to maintain professional engagement may result in the revocation of the scholarship for future semesters.

5. The Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System

As the heart of the Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System - a framework with three professional tracks - the Roxbourg Vision 2 Finance (V2F) Method is a 9-step roadmap designed to transform humanitarian intent into a sustainable, professionally validated venture.

The Roxbourg 9-Step Vision 2 Finance (V2F) Method:

  • Step 1: Find Your Specialization – Identify your "Turf." What are your core competencies? Where do you achieve the highest results with maximum efficiency?

  • Step 2: Finalize Your Purpose – Define your mission. Who do you serve, and what specific humanitarian gap are you filling?

  • Step 3: Decide Your Ambition – Quantify your impact. How many lives will your venture improve, and on what timeline?

  • Step 4: Secure Partners – Pitch your vision to mission-aligned organizations, government agencies, and foundations. Build your ecosystem before finalizing your legal entity.

  • Step 5: Engage Potential Users – Test your assumptions. Build your brand and digital presence based on real-world user interaction and feedback.

  • Step 6: Architect Your Offers – Define your value proposition. What are you delivering? Build distinct sub-brands for your products/services and optimize them for the modern digital economy.

  • Step 7: Build Operational Capabilities – Develop the infrastructure to deliver with confidence. Establish professional relationships with top-tier suppliers.

  • Step 8: Revenue Generation – Execute your financial model. Implement invoicing and payment structures that ensure venture stability and liquidity.

  • Step 9: Achieve Financial Sustainability – Scale your operations. Market, sell, and deliver consistently to finance the next level of your global ambition.

The Professional Journey

In 300 to 600 days, candidates must master every detail of business planning and execution. Graduation with a Professional Qualification is reserved for those who demonstrate a clear vision, a finalized team, and a validated action plan for scaling.

The Roxbourg Experience includes:

  • Weekly Jam Sessions: Interactive seminars (Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday) focused on real-time venture challenges.

  • ANYTIME Jams: Peer-led working groups for deep-dive collaboration.

  • Action Assignments: Practical tasks submitted during sessions that directly build your venture.

  • Research & Mastery: Deep study of the Roxbourg Library and the latest Roxbourg Method.

  • Venture Milestones: Legal registration, website deployment, social media activation, and deal-closing.

  • Professional Validation: The final presentation to the Professional Validation Board (PVB).

Core Competencies Mastered:

To earn the Professional MBA or Professional DBA, candidates must prove mastery in:

  • Market Intelligence: Opportunity analysis and addressable market validation.

  • Strategic Leadership: Purpose, ambition, and core/extended team development.

  • Value Creation: Product positioning, unique propositions, and lead generation.

  • Sustainable Finance: Break-even planning, fundraising, and revenue delivery.

  • Risk Management: Contractual frameworks, legal compliance, and reporting accuracy.

  • Resilience: The ability to "Bounce Back" and iterate under pressure.

  • Executive Presence: Pitching with precision and impact to the Validation Board.

The Roxbourg Fellowship

Upon successful validation, all Roxbourg Professional MBA and Professional DBA graduates are eligible for accreditation as Roxbourg Fellows, joining an elite global circle of social innovators and research practitioners.

Compliance Note: The Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System is a professional development framework. Board validation signifies professional competency in these core subjects and does not confer academic credit or a state-recognized degree.

6. Professional Standards for Roxbourg Jam Sessions

Participating in a Roxbourg Jam Session is an opportunity to engage in a high-level professional forum. These sessions are designed to simulate executive board environments where ventures are scrutinized, accelerated, and validated. To maintain the prestige of the Roxbourg Professional Qualifications, all candidates must adhere to the following standards:

I. Punctuality and Technical Readiness

  • On-Time Arrival: Professionalism begins with punctuality. Candidates are expected to be present at the start of the session (maximum grace period of 20 minutes).

  • Technical Infrastructure: Candidates must ensure a stable internet connection that supports high-definition video without audio distortion. Reliable technology is a prerequisite for global venture leadership.

II. Executive Decorum and Conduct

  • Professional Presence: Follow a professional dress code. Smoking, eating, or consuming alcohol during the session is strictly prohibited.

  • Focused Environment: Sessions must be attended from a stationary, quiet professional space. Participation while driving or operating a vehicle is prohibited for safety and engagement reasons.

  • Active Listening: Pay close attention to peer presentations and faculty insights. The Roxbourg ecosystem thrives on mutual respect and high-level feedback.

III. Application of the Roxbourg Method

  • Structured Intervention: Candidates must use the Roxbourg Method to formulate their interventions. Contributions should focus on Purpose & Ambition, the Acceleration Plan, Deal Flow, and the Venture Plan.

  • Action-Oriented Input: Every session is an opportunity to move the needle on your venture. Discussions are centered on real-world implementation rather than abstract theory.

IV. Session Protocols and Moderation

  • Support the Master of Ceremonies (MC): To ensure a productive flow for all global participants, follow established protocols.

  • Procedural Engagement: Use the digital "Raise Hand" feature to ask questions or offer support. Speak only when recognized by the MC to maintain order and clarity in the digital forum.

  • Professional Courtesy: Attend the session in its entirety as a mark of respect for your colleagues. In the event of a genuine emergency requiring early departure, candidates should leave quietly and notify the Roxbourg Team via email rather than interrupting the public forum.

V. Consequences of Non-Compliance

To protect the integrity of the professional cohort, candidates who repeatedly fail to meet these standards - or who miss more than 6 sessions in a cycle - will be required to restart the cycle to ensure they are fully equipped for the Professional Validation Board.

Policy Note: Jam Sessions are the primary laboratory for the Roxbourg Professional MBA and Professional DBA. Consistent adherence to these standards is a key metric used by the Professional Validation Board when determining the final issuance of a candidate’s Professional Qualification.

7. Governance and Professional Validation Framework

Roxbourg operates under a three-tier governance structure designed to ensure that every Professional Qualification issued meets the highest standards of real-world impact and ethical integrity.

I. Decision Tier: The Professional Validation Board (PVB)

The Professional Validation Board (PVB) is the supreme authority for granting professional credentials.

  • Composition: The PVB consists of international development leaders and distinguished Roxbourg Alumni who have successfully validated their own ventures. Members are appointed for a renewable one-year term.

  • The "Conscience Round" Method: To ensure total objectivity and protect the integrity of the process, the PVB utilizes an anonymous scoring system. While each board member reviews the Venture Plan and grading rubric, the final aggregate score is generated through a randomized weighting process.

  • Outcome: The PVB determines who is granted the Professional MBA or Professional DBA Qualification and identifies candidates for the Roxbourg Gold Medal. Graduates and Good100 Medal winners are subsequently invited to apply for advanced Executive Research tracks (Professional DBA or Post-Doc Fellowship).

II. Strategic Tier: The Professional Standards Advisory Board (SAB)

The Standards Advisory Board (SAB) ensures the Roxbourg Method remains at the cutting edge of global social innovation.

  • Composition: The SAB is elected by the Working Groups and includes leaders of qualified Innovation Academies and active Professional DBA candidates.

  • Function: The SAB defines the evolving benchmarks for participation, collaboration, and venture acceleration that all candidates must meet.

III. Operations Tier: Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA)

Managed by the Roxbourg Executive Team, the SPAA oversees the institutional machinery.

  • Functions: The SPAA convenes the PVB and SAB, implements policy recommendations, and manages the administrative journey of every candidate. The SPAA acts as the final referee, ensuring that all "Roxbourg Professional Qualification" protocols are strictly followed.

Professional Validation Criteria (The Graduation Gateway)

Before a candidate is permitted to pitch to the Professional Validation Board, they must fulfill the following seven mandatory requirements:

  1. Attendance Resilience: Professional MBA: Minimum 1 year (3 Semesters) with 80% attendance.

    • Professional DBA: Minimum 2 years (6 Semesters) with 80% attendance.

  2. Collaborative Participation: Active engagement in Study Groups is required. The SAB mandates 2 to 4 hours per week of peer-to-peer support and co-creation.

  3. Legal Entity Registration: Your venture must be a legally registered entity in your host country (Non-Profit or For-Profit).

  4. Digital Transparency (Website): Your official website must clearly display:

    • Legal Registration details.

    • Active Service/Product Offers and Delivery Approach.

    • Impact Achievements and Founder Story.

    • Compliance: The site must include a Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and fulfill all global Cookie/Data standards. Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism.

  5. Evidence of Progress (Social Media): Candidates must maintain a consistent professional narrative on Facebook or LinkedIn, tagging @Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship, allowing the SPAA to track real-time venture growth.

  6. Financial Traction: You must demonstrate revenue generation or substantial resource mobilization, with documented "Deals Closed" in your Venture Plan.

  7. User Impact: You must quantify the specific number of beneficiaries or users positively impacted by your venture.

Governance Disclosure: The Roxbourg Professional Validation Board is an internal peer-review body. Its decisions are final and relate exclusively to the issuance of private professional qualifications. These credentials are not state-conferred degrees and do not fall under the governance of national academic accreditation agencies.

8. Professional Validation Board (PVB) Decision Criteria

The Roxbourg Professional Validation Board (PVB) operates under a specific mandate: to assess whether a candidate’s venture has reached the necessary maturity to be granted a Professional Qualification in the current cycle. The PVB also identifies exceptional leaders for the prestigious Roxbourg Gold Medal.

The Validation Pitch

To present to the Board, candidates must follow a standardized executive template. The Board conducts a rigorous inquiry session, and all decisions rendered by the PVB are final and binding within the Roxbourg professional framework.

Assessment Criteria

The PVB evaluates every Venture Pitch based on three primary professional pillars:

  • A. Innovation and Impact Analysis: The Board assesses the originality of the venture idea, the efficiency of the business model, and the depth of the candidate’s analysis regarding the root causes of the humanitarian challenges they are addressing.

  • B. Strategic Feasibility: This is measured by how effectively the candidate’s Ambition is aligned with their stated Purpose and their professional Specialization. The Board looks for realistic, executable plans.

  • C. Demonstrated Progress: The Board evaluates the tangible growth of the venture during the candidate’s enrollment. Success is measured by the level of achievement reached versus the initial stated ambition.

Scoring and Honors

The PVB utilizes a standardized grading rubric to ensure objectivity:

  • Standard Validation (80%): The minimum aggregate score required to earn a Roxbourg Professional Qualification (Professional MBA or Professional DBA).

  • The Roxbourg Gold Medal (90%): Awarded to candidates demonstrating elite mastery. In semesters where no candidate reaches 90%, those scoring 5 percentage points above the cohort average (minimum 80%) will be nominated for the Gold Medal and subsequent Fellowship.

  • Integrity of the Vote: To maintain impartiality, the highest and lowest scores from Board members are excluded when calculating the final average. This "blind-validation" ensures no individual member can disproportionately influence the final outcome.

Mandatory Requirements

  • The 80% Attendance Rule: Professional validation is contingent upon consistent engagement. A minimum of 80% attendance in all seminars and Jam Sessions within the cycle is mandatory.

  • Transparency: All Board decisions are based on the candidate's pitch and verified, publicly available data (e.g., website, social media, and registered legal entity status).

Operational Disclosure: The decision to grant a Professional Qualification is based on the validation of a venture's professional viability and the candidate's mastery of the Roxbourg Method. These scores are for professional certification purposes only and do not constitute academic GPA or state-recognized degree grading.

9. Decision Criteria for the Good100 Medal and Group Certificate

The Good100 Medal is the highest peer-recognized honor within the Roxbourg ecosystem. It is awarded to those who have moved beyond the "startup" phase to achieve documented, high-scale impact. The Group Certificate serves to validate the collective professional effort behind a successful venture.

The Good100 Medal: Criteria for Impact Excellence

To be nominated for the Good100 Medal, a candidate’s venture must meet four stringent professional benchmarks:

  • #1 Humanitarian Alignment: The venture must demonstrate a relentless focus on securing fundamental human rights through concrete, operational projects in one or more of the core focus areas: Clean Water, Balanced Nutrition, Breathable Air, Renewable Energy, Quality Education, Reliable Healthcare, Secure Habitat, or Self-Expression.

  • #2 Institutional Integrity: The venture or organization must be officially registered with the relevant local or national authorities in its host jurisdiction.

  • #3 Scaled Impact (100+ Milestone): The candidate must provide evidence that the venture has transitioned from pilot to practice. Specifically, the venture must be actively serving at least 100 users or partners, thereby transforming lives through the delivery of its core social mission.

  • #4 Digital Transparency & Narrative: The venture’s digital presence must be exemplary. The official website must clearly showcase the venture’s Offer and Operational Capabilities, while its social media streams must provide a chronological record of Milestone Achievements.

The Group Certificate: Validating the Ecosystem

Roxbourg recognizes that no social entrepreneur succeeds in isolation. Therefore, all Roxbourg Professional Qualification graduates are eligible to request a Group Certificate.

  • Recognition of the Team: This certificate is designed to honor the key team members, supporters, or partners who contributed to the venture’s acceleration during the program.

  • Vertical vs. Horizontal Credentials: The Professional Qualification (Professional MBA or Professional DBA): A "Horizontal" credential certifying the individual’s mastery and professional competency.

    • The Group Certificate: A "Vertical" credential recognizing the collaborative framework and the collective strength of the venture’s supporting ecosystem.

Certification Disclosure: The Good100 Medal and Group Certificate are private professional honors issued in Switzerland. They represent industry-led peer recognition of venture success and impact. They are not academic awards and do not carry state-recognized educational credits.

10. Post-Validation: The Roxbourg Fellowship & Global Opportunities

Membership Disclosure: The Roxbourg Fellowship is a private professional association. Membership is contingent upon the continued adherence to the Roxbourg Code of Conduct and the active pursuit of social impact through a registered venture. Enrollment in the Fellowship does not grant academic faculty status at state-accredited universities.

11. The Roxbourg Golden Rules & Professional Code of Conduct

The Roxbourg ecosystem is built on high-trust collaboration and professional focus. To ensure that every candidate can accelerate their venture without distraction, we adhere to three fundamental "Golden Rules":

Rule I: The Growth Mindset

Accept Imperfection and Prioritize Learning. In the world of social entrepreneurship, failure is often a precursor to a breakthrough. We acknowledge that no one is perfect. We embrace mistakes - both our own and those of our peers - as essential data points for professional growth and venture iteration.

Rule II: The Principle of Forgiveness

Maintain Momentum by Releasing Grudges. For the first rule to function, the community must be a safe space for experimentation. We commit to forgiving lapses in judgment or execution and resolving conflicts quickly. Holding grudges is seen as a drain on the creative energy required to solve global challenges.

Rule III: Absolute Professional Focus

Respect the Mission and the Process. Always remember why you are here: to accelerate your venture for the benefit of humanity. To protect this mission, all candidates must:

  • Respect Peer Momentum: Foster a supportive environment that builds others up rather than disrupting their progress.

  • Privacy & Confidentiality: Do not record videos or post photos of your classmates or their proprietary venture details online without explicit consent.

  • Respect Governance: Abide by the decisions of the Professional Validation Board (PVB). To maintain the integrity of the "Conscience Round" process, candidates must not contact Board members to discuss project reviews before or after a decision is rendered.

Governance & Dispute Resolution

The Roxbourg Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) team acts as the steward of these rules.

  • The Role of the SPAA: Think of the SPAA as the professional referee. Their mandate is to support candidates in following these rules and to remove any obstacles that could derail your "business development race."

  • Legal Framework: All members of the Roxbourg community are expected to adhere to the official Roxbourg Terms and Privacy Policy, which are governed by the principles of Swiss Law.

By adhering to these rules, we ensure that the Roxbourg Institute remains a world-class environment for elite social entrepreneurs to thrive.

Conduct Disclosure: Serious or repeated violations of the Golden Rules or the Professional Code of Conduct may lead to a formal review by the SPAA and, if necessary, the revocation of a candidate's Professional Qualification or enrollment without refund.

12. Professional Code of Conduct & Ethical Standards

The global prestige of the Roxbourg Institute is built upon our collective vision to reward good and the high degree of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism maintained by our candidates, Fellows, and the Roxbourg Team.

Every participant must recognize that their actions reflect upon the entire Roxbourg ecosystem. To protect the value of the Roxbourg Professional Qualification, the following standards of conduct are mandatory:

I. Professional Representation

As a candidate for a Roxbourg Professional Qualification, you may be seen as a representative of Roxbourg. You are expected to conduct yourself with the dignity and ethical rigor associated with global social leadership, both during Jam Sessions and in your external professional dealings.

II. Mutual Respect and Professionalism

Participants must, at all times, engage with colleagues and the Roxbourg Team in a professional, courteous, and constructive manner. Our community thrives on high-trust collaboration; therefore:

  • Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Roxbourg maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding violence and any form of abusive behavior.

  • Harassment-Free Environment: This includes, but is not limited to, harassment of a sexual, racial, religious, or personal nature directed toward any individual, including peers and Roxbourg Team Members.

III. Ethical Integrity in Venture Building

Candidates must demonstrate absolute integrity in the development of their ventures. This includes:

  • Intellectual Honesty: Respecting the intellectual property of others and avoiding plagiarism in all venture plans and digital platforms.

  • Transparency: Providing accurate data regarding venture achievements, legal registration, and user impact.

IV. Sanctions and Withdrawal of Support

Violent, abusive, or unethical behavior - whether occurring during official Jam Sessions or in an off-duty capacity - undermines the mission of the Institute.

  • Review Process: The Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) team reserves the right to investigate reports of misconduct.

  • Consequences: Proven violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the immediate withdrawal of scholarship support, suspension from the program, and/or the permanent revocation of a candidate’s eligibility for the Professional MBA or Professional DBA Qualification.

Conduct Disclosure: Adherence to the Code of Conduct is a non-negotiable requirement for graduation. The Professional Validation Board (PVB) considers a candidate’s ethical standing and professional behavior as key indicators of their readiness to lead a social venture.

13. Forward-Looking Statements & Risk Disclosure

The Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) is an environment of innovation and venture growth. As such, various communications may contain projections regarding future opportunities.

Definition of Forward-Looking Statements

Any statements made by Roxbourg, its representatives, or within its official documentation regarding the following are considered forward-looking statements:

  • Financial Incentives: Potential rewards, innovation grants, and scholarships.

  • Professional Titles: The future issuance of Fellowships or specialized executive titles.

  • Career Outcomes: Opportunities for part-time or full-time employment, consultancy roles, or finding external funding and investment.

Risks and Uncertainties

These statements are not guarantees of future performance or results. They are based on current expectations and are subject to significant unknown risks, uncertainties, and external factors that are beyond the control of the Institute. These factors include, but are not limited to:

  • Market Conditions: Global economic shifts affecting social venture profitability and growth.

  • Venture Performance: The individual success and scalability of a candidate's specific project.

  • Institutional Resources: Changes in the availability of scholarship funds or grant pools.

  • Regulatory Changes: Shifts in international laws regarding professional licensing and private certifications.

Institutional Liability

Candidates are encouraged to make enrollment and investment decisions based on the current value of the Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System and the Professional Qualification framework rather than on the anticipation of future financial or employment outcomes. Roxbourg does not assume any obligation to update forward-looking statements as conditions change.

Policy Note: The primary value offered by Roxbourg is the validation of professional competency and the acceleration of a social venture. All outcomes related to external funding, employment, or third-party investment are the sole responsibility of the candidate and their venture's performance in the open market.

14. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Framework

The Roxbourg Institute is a collaborative environment where proprietary venture strategies, internal methodologies, and sensitive social data are shared among elite practitioners. To foster a safe space for innovation, all participants must adhere to strict Non-Disclosure (NDA) requirements.

I. Scope of Confidential Information

Candidates, Fellows, and Academy partners agree that they will not - at any time during or after their association with Roxbourg - use or disclose any confidential information without explicit written authorization. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The Roxbourg Method: Proprietary trade secrets, operational playbooks, and the "Venture Acceleration System" infrastructure.

  • Peer Intellectual Property: Strategic data, venture plans, and trade secrets shared by other candidates during Jam Sessions or Study Groups.

  • Institutional Data: Internal research, financial models, and material relating to the business, affairs, or property of Roxbourg and its global partners.

II. Direct and Indirect Disclosure

Confidential information must be protected from both direct and indirect disclosure. Participants must ensure that proprietary materials are not shared with third parties, utilized for competitive purposes outside of the Roxbourg ecosystem, or published on public platforms without prior approval.

III. Professional Integrity in Research

While Roxbourg encourages the sharing of "sparks" and success stories via platforms like OneMillionSparks, this must be done without compromising the core trade secrets or sensitive operational data of the Institute or its members.

IV. Duration of Obligation

The duty of confidentiality begins the moment a candidate joins their first Jam Session and remains in effect indefinitely after the conclusion of their program or fellowship.

Compliance Note: Protecting the intellectual property of the community is a core tenet of the Roxbourg Golden Rules. A breach of confidentiality not only undermines the trust of the global ecosystem but may also lead to the immediate revocation of a candidate's Professional Qualification and potential legal action under Swiss Law.

15. Intellectual Property and Branding Guidelines

The Roxbourg Institute is committed to a Zero-Equity model. We believe that social entrepreneurs should maintain full control over their innovations. Our Intellectual Property (IP) policy is designed to protect your venture while ensuring the integrity of the Roxbourg brand.

I. Ownership of Content and Ventures

  • 100% Participant Ownership: Roxbourg does not claim any ownership rights, equity, or intellectual property in relation to the content, business models, or ventures produced by the candidate. You retain all rights to your work.

  • Usage License: By participating in the program, you grant Roxbourg a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global license to reproduce, display, and distribute your venture’s name, logo, and impact stories. This is strictly for the purpose of showcasing your success, attracting partners to your venture, and promoting the Roxbourg ecosystem.

  • Roxbourg Property: All logos, methodologies (including the V2F Method), internal documents, digital tools, and research materials produced by Roxbourg remain the exclusive property of the Institute.

II. Branding and Identity Guidelines

To ensure professional clarity and global regulatory compliance, all affiliates must follow these specific branding protocols when identifying their credentials:

  • Individual Qualifications: When announcing your affiliation, please use the following format:

[Full Name], Roxbourg Professional MBA (or Professional DBA), Class of [Onboarding Year]

  • Good100 Showcase Recognition: Candidates whose ventures have been validated at the GoodFestival should identify the specific edition and year:

Certified Good100 Social Venture, GoodFestival [Year]

  • Licensed Innovation Academies: Any individual or organization that has acquired a Roxbourg License and has been validated by the Professional Validation Board (PVB) must include the following tag-line on all program materials:

[Your Academy Name] - Powered by Roxbourg
[Your Program Name] - Powered by Roxbourg

III. Institutional Authority

All professional credentials, qualifications, and certificates are issued exclusively by the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), Switzerland.

Candidates are prohibited from modifying the titles or removing the "Professional" designation from their credentials, as these are essential for distinguishing our private professional qualifications from state-regulated academic degrees.

IP Disclosure: While you own your venture, the Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System and the Roxbourg Method are protected trade secrets. Unauthorized commercialization of the Roxbourg training framework by a non-licensed individual is a violation of our Non-Disclosure Agreement and Swiss Intellectual Property law.

16. Time Management and Policy Governance

At the Roxbourg Institute, we respect the time and focus of high-level social entrepreneurs. Our guidelines are designed to maximize productivity and ensure that the Venture Acceleration System operates at peak efficiency.

I. Session Efficiency and Decorum

  • Participant Autonomy: We recognize that our candidates are active founders and executives. Participants are free to exit a Roxbourg Jam Session at any time if urgent venture or personal matters arise. To maintain the professional flow, we request that departures be made quietly and without a public announcement.

  • Moderation Authority: To ensure that all participants benefit from a structured learning environment, the Master of Ceremonies (MC) during every Jam Session holds the authority to conclude any debate or presentation at their discretion. This ensures the session remains focused on the core curriculum and milestone achievements.

II. Policy Validity and Amendments

  • Duration of Policy: This policy framework, including all 17 points of the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), remains in full effect until December 31, 2030.

  • Review and Updates: The Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) team, in consultation with the Standards Advisory Board (SAB), reserves the right to amend these policies as necessary to adapt to global regulatory shifts or improvements in the Roxbourg Method.

  • Notification of Changes: Any significant amendments will be updated on the official policy page (www.roxbourg.mba/policy) and communicated to all active candidates and Fellows via the internal platform.

Operational Note: Time management is a core competency of the Roxbourg Method. Consistent attendance is measured by your digital presence during the duration of the scheduled Jam Sessions, and adherence to the 80% Attendance Rule remains a prerequisite for the final Professional Validation Board review.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdictional Authority

The Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) is a private professional initiative of Majamba Sàrl, a Swiss limited liability company registered in the Canton of Vaud (Registration Number: CH-550-1072663-4).

I. Applicable Law

This policy, and all agreements entered into by candidates, Fellows, and Academy partners with Roxbourg, shall be governed, interpreted, and construed exclusively under the substantive laws of Switzerland. This applies without reference to any conflict of law principles.

II. Jurisdiction for Dispute Resolution

By enrolling in a Roxbourg Professional Track or applying for a Roxbourg Professional Qualification, the participant explicitly agrees that any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in relation to this agreement - including matters regarding the validity, invalidity, breach, or termination thereof - shall be decided exclusively by the ordinary courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

III. Professional Status Acknowledgment

As established throughout this 17-point policy, participants acknowledge that:

  • Private Institutional Status: Roxbourg operates under the Swiss principle of economic and educational freedom as a private professional provider.

  • Non-Academic Nature: All credentials (Professional MBA, Professional DBA, Professional MSE) are Private Professional Qualifications. They are not Swiss federally recognized academic degrees and are not subject to the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA).

  • Finality of Validation: The decisions of the Professional Validation Board (PVB) regarding the issuance of professional qualifications are final and are governed by the Institute's internal quality standards.

Legal Disclosure: Participation in Roxbourg programs signifies a full and unconditional acceptance of this 17-Point Policy. Candidates are responsible for ensuring that their use of the "Professional Qualification" title complies with the specific private-sector regulations of their local jurisdiction outside of Switzerland.
