Roxbourg is an Accreditation System that is structured like an Examination Board for professionals building a better world.
0. Overview of Roxbourg
At the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), you learn to build a social venture or a sustainable project anywhere in the world and graduate in Switzerland with the Roxbourg Master of Social Entrepreneurship (MSE), Roxbourg Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Roxbourg Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA). The foundational program used to benchmark and accredit all Roxbourg MBA and Roxbourg Doctorate degree programs is the Roxbourg Humanitarian Doctorate. All Roxbourg Programs are structured around the 11-Week Semester. The first time you attend the semester, your objective is to observe and learn from other candidates who are already accelerating their ventures. All candidates are expected to complete at least 3 semesters to earn their Roxbourg MSE or Roxbourg MBA. All Roxbourg DBA candidates must complete at least 3 additional 11-week semesters after completing their Roxbourg MBA to meet the requirements for the Roxbourg DBA degree program.

5. What is the Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System?
The Roxbourg Venture Acceleration System is built around the Roxbourg Vision 2 Finance Method:
Step 1: Find Your Specialization
Start with identifying what you are good at? What are your core skills. Know your ”Turf”. What do you enjoy? What can you do with minimum effort?
Step 2: Finalize Your Purpose
Who do you want to serve? Where can you make the biggest impact? What is the problem you want to solve?
Step 3: Decide Your Ambition
Based on your specialization and your purpose, what do you want to build? How many people will benefit from your project or venture? In what time frame?
Step 4: Find Partners
Pitch your vision to organizations that share your values including Government agencies or Companies / Foundations who want to promote innovation. Take all the advice you can get before registering your legal entity.
Step 5: Find Potential Users
Pitch to individuals you want to serve. Start marketing and building your brand including website and social media presence based on actual user interaction. You have to protect your overall brand.
Step 6: Create Offer(s)
What will people receive? What are you selling? Each offer needs its own brand. Update your main website URL in line with your venture name and prepare your SEO for each sub-brand - AI engines will love you for simplifying their artificial life!
Step 7: Start Building Capabilities
So you can deliver your product or service with confidence. Pay your suppliers on time so you receive top tier service.
Step 8: Send Invoices
So you can get paid by your customers and deliver your services or products. Be ready to switch to the “Pre-pay” model if the customer does not honor the payment plan.
Step 9: Repeat. Achieve Financial Sustainability
Market, Sell and Deliver. You are now financially sustainable. You are now ready to finance the next level of your ambition together with Roxbourg / GoodFestival.
Notes:
In 200 - 600 days, you will need to master every detail of business planning and executing your plan after confirming your purpose, setting your ambition, finalizing your team, finalizing partnerships, and creating an action plan to scale up your venture. In the past, students with a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve have graduated with top honors.

7. How is the Roxbourg Governance re: Graduation structured?
Roxbourg follows a three-tier governance structure:
I. Decision Tier: The Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) is made up of leaders who have accelerated sustainable ventures as part of International Development Organizations and Roxbourg Alumni who have completed at least one of the Roxbourg Programs - Humanitarian MBA, Humanitarian Doctorate, Professional Higher Education Doctorate, or the Post Doc Fellowship are invited to the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) for a renewable term of one year. The Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) follows the “conscience round” method, in which each board member receives the venture plan and the grading sheet; however, only random scores will be aggregated, so no one knows who made the final decision, thereby preserving anonymity. The Roxbourg Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) Team constitutes the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB). The aggregate score from the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) determines who graduates with a Roxbourg Degree and who receives the Roxbourg Gold Medal. Everyone who graduates or wins the Good100 Medal is invited to apply for the Roxbourg Humanitarian Doctorate or Roxbourg Post Doc Fellowship.
II. Strategic Tier: The Roxbourg Standards Advisory Board (SAB) is elected by each Working Group. The SAB is made up of leaders of Academies accredited by Roxbourg, Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA, Roxbourg Humanitarian Doctorate, and Roxbourg Post Doc Fellowship Candidates.
Notes:
Graduation criteria for all candidates who want to pitch to the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB):
1/ Attendance: You need to complete a minimum of 1 Year / 3 Semesters with 80% attendance for the Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA and 2 Years / 6 Semesters (minimum 3 Semesters after Roxbourg MBA Graduation) for the Roxbourg Humanitarian Doctorate with 80% attendance.
2/ Participation: Your participation in the Study Group matters. Standards Advisory Board (SAB) decides the minimum level of participation - from 2 to 4 hours per week.
3/ Registration of your Legal Entity: Your organization needs to be registered as a legal entity in your host country.
4/ Website: Your website needs to clearly provide information about your Legal Entity Registration, Your Offer, Your Delivery Approach, Your Achievements, About You and the Story of your Venture. Your website should give credit to all sources (No Plagiarism). Your website should be legally compliant including Policy, Terms, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Option.
5/ Social Media: You need to make consistent Social Media posts while you are enrolled at Roxbourg clearly tagging Roxbourg - @Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship - on Facebook or LinkedIn in order for Roxbourg to measure your progress.
6/ Revenues / Cash Generation: You need to start generating substantial revenues or cash and clearly mention deals in your Venture Plan / Achievements.
7/ Users: You need to mention the number of users who are benefiting from your venture or project in your Venture Plan / Achievements.
III. Operations Tier: The Roxbourg Student Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) is managed by the Roxbourg Team. The Roxbourg SPAA Team convenes the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) and the Roxbourg Standards Advisory Board (SAB). The Roxbourg SPAA Team takes the feedback and recommendations of the Roxbourg SAB and Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) in order to make decisions.
8. How does the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) decide who graduates?
The Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) has a very narrow mandate - to decide whether your venture is ready for graduation in the current semester or the next. And to decide who is nominated for the Roxbourg Gold Medal. In order to pitch to the board, you will need to follow a strict template. The board can ask questions and the decision of the board is final.
The Roxbourg / Good100 Accreditation Board reviews the Venture Pitches based on the following criteria:
A. Innovation of your Venture Idea or your Business Model or your analysis of the root cause of the challenges faced by your community in particular or humanity at large.
B. Feasibility of your Venture Plan you submit is measured by assessing how closely your ambition is aligned to your purpose and your specialization.
C. Progress of the Venture or Project during the period you are enrolled at Roxbourg is measured by assessing the level of achievement versus the stated ambition.
The Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) grades every student based on the template provided to the students.
The overall passing score is 80% and the score for the Roxbourg Gold Medal is 90% - in case of no one receives the 90% score, everyone with 5% points above the average (minimum 80%) will be nominated for the Gold Medal / Fellowship - please note any particular board member does not know if their score led to the decision as the top and bottom scores are not counted when the average is taken.
Note: 80% attendance is mandatory in order to complete a semester. All decisions are made on publicly available data.
9. What is the decision criteria for the Good100 Medal and the Group Certificate?
#1 Venture or Project Focus
Your venture or organization is focused on addressing basic human rights with concrete projects in the following focus areas: Clean Water, Balanced Nutrition, Breathable Air, Renewable Energy, Quality Education, Reliable Healthcare, Secure Habitat or Self Expression.

11. What are the golden rules followed by Roxbourg?
Well, the first golden rule is that no one is perfect and we need to learn from our mistakes. In order for the first rule to work, we need to forgive everyone and try not to hold a grudge. This brings us to the third golden rule - always remember why you are enrolled at Roxbourg - to further develop your venture. That is why respect your classmates; try not to disrupt their momentum; do not record any videos or post any photos of your classmates online; follow the decisions of the board, and please do not contact the board to discuss the decision regarding your project before or after the board review.
The Roxbourg Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) Team exists to support everyone to follow the golden rules and resolve all obstacles that can potentially derail the business development race.
